Opus continues Manchester expansion
A 12-strong team and five specialist service areas mark the rapid expansion of Opus Advisory Group’s Manchester operation in just two and a half years.
With recent investment, including the appointment of Hassan Ahsan as Director to lead Corporate Finance across the region, the firm is set to broaden its offering further to support North West businesses through growth and investment, financial challenges, restructuring and insolvency.
“When we opened in Manchester two and a half years ago, we knew we had to establish the brand, build the right team and demonstrate through the work we were doing where we wanted to sit in the market. We’ve been very deliberate about building a broad-based advisory offering. We don’t want the first conversation with a business to be when it has reached the point of insolvency. Our aim reflects that of the wider Opus offering, in that we strive to be relevant throughout the corporate lifecycle, whether a business is growing, raising capital, planning an exit, facing operational or financial challenges, or needs support through a more significant restructuring,” says Frank Ofonagoro, Partner – Head of Manchester, Opus Advisory Group.
“Manchester is a highly competitive advisory market, but we believe we’ve established a clear position within the mid-market,” adds Gary Lee, Partner, Opus Restructuring & Insolvency, part of Opus Advisory Group. “We have the depth of experience and breadth of expertise to take on complex, high-value assignments while retaining the agility, independence and personal approach that are fundamental to Opus.”
The continued expansion comes as Opus strengthens its position in the competitive North West mid-market, combining specialist expertise for complex assignments with an independent, commercially focused approach.
