Dreamdata appoints Dave Kellogg to board
B2B attribution platform, Dreamdata that shows how B2B marketing drives revenue, appoints software veteran and advisor Dave Kellogg to its Board to help shape the company’s future growth strategy.
A respected thought leader and author of the widely followed Kellblog, Kellogg brings more than 30 years of experience at CEO, CMO and board roles in companies ranging from zero to over $1 billion in revenue and some of the world’s leading enterprise software firms, including Business Objects, Planful and Salesforce.
“The ‘original sin’ in B2B attribution was trying to solve a marketing problem inside a sales system, reducing a complex buyer journey to a single source field in a CRM, stripped of context,” explains Dave Kellogg. “Dismissing attribution doesn’t help, because the underlying questions don’t go away: what’s driving revenue, where should we invest, and where should we stop? Dreamdata understands this better than anyone and has built a platform that answers those questions. That’s why I’m joining the board, and why I think the opportunity ahead is significant.”
“With the average B2B buyer journey now spanning 272 days, 88 touchpoints and 10 stakeholders, most marketing teams are still trying to make sense of the data with last-touch attribution and spreadsheets,” says Nick Turner, CEO, Dreamdata. “We built Dreamdata to give marketers credibility and the confidence of knowing how marketing actually drives revenue. Dave understands the challenge deeply, and his experience as both a CMO and a CEO is exactly what we need at this stage of our growth.”
Kellogg’s appointment as part of the leadership team reflects Dreamdata’s ambitious plans to build on its influence in the market. Over the past two years, the company has experienced revenue growth of over 400%, expanding its presence in North America and Europe. It also successfully raised $55 million in a Series B funding round last October to help expand the platform’s AI-powered capabilities and features.
Founded by former Trustpilot executive, Lars Grønnegaard, CPO, and Steffen Hedebrandt, CMO, Dreamdata offers B2B marketing teams the most complete view across the customer journey and identifies the activities driving revenue. With offices in Copenhagen and New York, Dreamdata now has close to 100 employees.
