Atradius strengthens Brazil market

To strengthen its local presence in Brazil’s growing non-cancellable credit insurance, leading international credit insurer, Atradius (www.atradius.co.uk) is appointing Carolina Berardinelli as Senior Underwriter, Special Products, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“We have excellent partnerships with brokers in Brazil and valued relationships with large, sophisticated businesses” explains Jon Handen, Head of Special Products Americas for Atradius.  “Brazil is a key market for us and putting Special Products ‘boots on the ground’ to join our existing Atradius team in Brazil is an important part of our strategy.  We are delighted to welcome Carolina to our team, where she will continue with our holistic approach to service and support our existing customers and to bring new accounts into our portfolio.  She is a senior analyst and economist with specialisms in Fintech and asset management, and will run our ‘non-can’ Brazilian portfolio to complement the more traditional suite of products and services that Atradius runs locally.”

Ms Berardinelli has previously worked with the Brazilian Export Credit Agency as a Senior Analyst in addition to roles as an economist and credit recovery specialist in Fintech and Asset Management.  She graduated in Economics and Finance from Ibmec.
