ACS marks 25 years
Leading debt recovery agency, Advanced Collection Systems is marking its 25th year of operation with a series of staff recognitions and community-focused initiatives scheduled throughout 2026.
The heart of the 25th-birthday festivities is the recognition of the “ACS family” and shines a spotlight on long-term employees through special recognition programs. Recent internal festivities include the presentation of the “I Can Do That For You” Award to Nadia, a legal specialist who has been with the firm for a decade. This award, which recognizes dedication and team spirit, is part of a larger anniversary programme designed to celebrate the workforce that has driven the company's growth.
“We wouldn’t be in the position we are today without our incredible staff, both past and present. Our staff are more than employee’s – we view them as our second family and thank them for their dedication” says Lisa Phillips, Managing Director, Advanced Collection Systems (ACS). “As we continue to celebrate our quarter of a century, it is not just the business we’ve built and are very proud of, but more importantly the relationships, trust, and reputation that got us here.”
Rather than simply looking back, ACS is using its 25th year to showcase its future-ready infrastructure. The company’s proprietary collection platform, which has been the core of its business since 2000, now features advanced AI-based virtual agents and a highly-rated client portal known as Collect+. These technological milestones are central to the anniversary narrative, demonstrating how the firm has maintained its competitive edge through 25 years of digital transformation.
Founded in 2000 by two industry professionals to serve the specialized needs of the utility and energy sectors, ACS has evolved from a targeted startup into a diverse recovery firm operating out of its three-story headquarters in Hatfield. Today, the firm provides debt recovery, tracing, and litigation services for sole traders, SMEs, and multinational corporations in more than 200 countries.
