Atradius appoints James Burgess
 

James Burgess is appointed as Head of UK Commercial at global trade credit insurer, Atradius(www.atradius.co.uk), and joins the UK & Ireland Commercial Management Team under the leadership of recently appointed Regional Director Stuart Ramsden.

In his new role James will assume overall responsibility for account teams and sales for both corporate and SME segments, while Richard Reynolds, who also joins the UK management team will continue to lead the strategic account segment.

Based at Atradius’ City of London office, James has led the London & South East Commercial team and Atradius has seen the portfolio prosper under his management since he joined Atradius in February 20214.  A graduate of the University of Kent, James has been in the trade credit insurance industry for almost 20 years and has worked in commercial roles for all of that time, including managing strategic accounts and sales at both regional and national level.

Commenting on James’ appointment, Stuart Ramsden, Regional Director for Atradius UK & Ireland says, “James brings experience and a wealth of knowledge to this role, and I am confident that with his leadership our commercial teams will continue to deliver the very best solutions for our customers.  James’ past performance speaks for itself and assures a bright future for Atradius in the UK.”
