Jobsincredit.com celebrated its second birthday on 1st November by posting job vacancy number 41,000 on its website.

The company, established by Director Brett Marlow, is the credit industry’s only specialist jobsite and helps thousands of people each year find a new position.

In just two years the online recruitment portal has advertised 41,080 jobs, generating over 16,000 applications and attracting registrations from 12,600 credit, risk and compliance professionals.

Marlow explained: “It is incredible to think that we started from scratch two years ago and now work with clients such as Egg, Abbey National, HSBC and Robert Walters plc.

“To have such a high quality client base demonstrates we have an excellent product.

"I think we’ve been successful because we’re offering significant cost benefits to employers and the internet attracts high quality, ambitious and well qualified candidates.

“Many other job board sites have launched and failed since we started.

"We’ve gone from strength to strength, doubling the size of the team year on year, introducing a second, equally successful site, jobsinrisk.com, surpassing our financial targets and most importantly of all, helping our clients find the best people.”

Before launching jobsincredit.com,Marlow worked for Dun & Bradstreet and Experian supplying business information services.
It was during this time that he spotted the opportunity to help fill vacancies online.

Since jobsincredit.com was launched, online recruitment has seen a 76% increase and in the last year alone, some 11 million people, or 30% of the working population, have looked for a job on-line.

As well as recruitment, jobsincredit.com has developed partnerships to offer training services to credit professionals.

In addition to this service development, the company is on a third website which will fill another niche in the financial services industry when it is launched later this year.
