The EC has issued a Green Paper on improving the efficiency of the enforcement
of judgments throughout the EU.
The purpose of the Green Paper is to launch a broad consultation on how to
improve the enforcement of monetary claims in Europe.
The Paper describes the problems of the current situation and proposes the
creation of a European system for the attachment of bank accounts as a possible
solution.
The deadline for comment is 31 March 2007.
