Administrators from Ernst & Young have announced the sale of the business and
assets of six hotels in the Swallow Hotels and London and Edinburgh Inns group,
saving approximately 400 jobs.
Earlier this week more than 200 jobs were lost when the firm was forced to close
20 hotels and pubs after failing to find any buyers.
Joint administrator Roy Bailey explained: "We are delighted to have been
successful in selling a further six properties and securing jobs of employees at
these sites.
"We are continuing our efforts to save the rest of the business."
