E-Invoicing provider OB10 has revealed that three out of the four companies
short-listed for the Shared Services Network's annual award for the 'Most
Advanced Automation of a Shared Services Centre' are customers of the company.
OB10 provides a the global e-Invoicing network, simplifying complex
invoice-to-pay processes between companies and their suppliers by eliminating
the need to manage labour-intensive paper processing.
This means that suppliers can submit invoices in an electronic format without
requiring software or hardware investments. OB10 then translates the submitted
invoice into the format desired by the organisations' ERP system for prompt
processing.
Jamie Gunn, CEO at OB10, commented: "We are extremely proud that OB10 has been
able to contribute to the success of these companies in automating back office
processes.
"Typically, once a shared services centre has standardised and centralised
processes, the next step is to automate them, in order to enable personnel to
focus on value adding activities. OB10 liberates companies to achieve exactly
that."
"By adopting OB10, and complimentary automation technologies, the companies
mentioned above, have eliminated the burden of managing large volumes of paper
invoices, achieved best practice processes across multiple borders and have
increased their reporting capability and ability to respond to the needs of the
business.
"These companies have recognised the opportunities presented by automation
technologies, and have rightly been acknowledged for their commitment to best
practices and innovative approach to increasing the productivity of shared
services."
